Update in usability with new top-level menu system to reduce clicks and numerous bug fixes to ensure better functionality.
We’re excited to announce the release of 5.4.7 of our Paper-Less product. We’ve made more improvements to our manufacturing execution system software. These changes streamline its operation as well as resolve some defects.
The biggest change in this release is the rolling out of the Unified Portal Experience top-level menu. This new combined menu configuration provides users the ability to go anywhere from any screen instead of sifting through screen-specific menu options and clicking through to different Home pages.
The goal of the update is to speed up the day-to-day operation of the software, as well as to reduce training times for workers. The menu change does this by reducing the number of clicks to perform functions and the accumulation of knowledge about which screen contains specific menu items.
In the process, Paper-Less has depreciated the need for the separate Portal screen and classic application selector screen, as all functions can be easily found in the Unified Portal Home Screen on all Paper-Less MES software going forward.
Included with the Unified Portal Experience update are other improvements including performance gains in Bulkload functions and several minor bug fixes.
These are just a few of the updates that have been made to the Paper-Less MES. More information is available on these and the other areas where we’ve focused on improving the system’s interaction and performance for our customers.
