MV2 Inventory

MV2 allows end-users to enjoy a single interface to record all their activity. MV2-Inventory delivers tools that enable visibility and increase the velocity of material movement across your shop floor. This module provides the ability to update production orders, consume component material, and acknowledge the completion of finished goods.
The module allows material managers to track inventory levels, sort materials, research serial numbers, and create reports for additional analysis. MV2 allows for better visibility, better execution, and better performance of your supply chains.
Inventory
The MV2 Module allows administrators to view inventory balance information and manage item sequencing, configure item-specific settings, and work with serial numbers through the Inventory Application. MV2 inventory takes care of updating production orders, consuming component material, and acknowledging the completion of finished goods.
Inventory Balance Info
The inventory application allows users to view inventory balance information and sequence the order in which the material will be consumed (Issue Material transaction). The module allows the lowest sequence number for a given item/warehouse to be issued first. The module also allows you to manually manage sequence orders to fit the needs of your warehouse. When the process is invoked to issue component items for a selected Manufacturing Order, MV2 follows a hierarchy of warehouse/location settings to determine where the component items will be consumed.
Serial Patterns
A serial number is assigned to each product and distinguishes that product from others. Recording serial numbers can be a time-consuming activity on the shop floor. MV2 can auto-generate serial numbers during the record pieces or production receipt process. This can drastically reduce the amount of time and effort required to record serial numbers. When auto-generated serial numbers are enabled, the module will automatically generate a serial number based on a serial number pattern. The serial pattern application is where you can define and create unique serial number patterns that can be used to auto-generate serial numbers.
Serial Maintenance
Serial numbers are associated with the item number. The serial maintenance application allows users to edit serial numbers, manage parent/child relationships, view associated manufacturing orders, and review audit history. The main serial maintenance page allows you to view and search existing serial numbers.
