Enterprise Sales Representative Position

As an Enterprise Sales Representative, you will hunt for new business opportunities using a solution-driven sales methodology to generate and close new logos of our Manufacturing Execution System (MES) - a software platform that connects, monitors, and coordinates complex manufacturing systems, data flows, as well as people on shop floors.

We are seeking a seasoned sales and SaaS professional with expertise in navigating large organizations with multiple stakeholders who can assess product market fit and time to revenue. While the Enterprise Sales Representative will have prospecting support from a Business Development Representative (BDR) and marketing team to generate qualified leads, a background in both SaaS and manufacturing will fast-track ramp time. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, results-oriented sales hunter who has experience selling both directly and through established channel partners.

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop new business opportunities for the growth of Paper-Less’ MES offering
  • Educate prospective customers regarding the MES solution portfolio
  • Manage the sales process from discovery through negotiation and close
  • Manage quota and activities to exceed quarterly and annual revenue goals
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects/customers
  • Lead virtual (and in person) presentations and demos to key stakeholders
  • Leverage CRM data to manage and forecast sales activity and ensure pipeline growth aligns with targets
  • Work closely with the BDR and collaborate with Marketing, to develop lead generation strategies and focused prospecting efforts
  • Become an expert in our platform, customer needs, competitors and industry issues and trends.
  • Collaborate with internal product teams and provide feedback from the field to help shape future development
  • Efficiently engage other internal functions and resources as required and be an overall contributor to Paper-Less (PPL) efforts
  • Utilize resources/lead team of internal resources to gain new accounts and expand accounts
  • Attend key industry events to enhance networking opportunities

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree, plus five plus years of hunting new logo software sales experience. Manufacturing industry experience preferred
  • Experience managing sales opportunities through the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to quickly assess and understand a prospect or customer’s business environment and needs applying them business values of the PPL MES solution
  • Engage with prospects to understand their unique and specific business issues and produce compelling business cases to meet their needs
  • Experience mapping stakeholders into decision-makers and influencers and selling to each businesses’ unique pain. You know how to move a SaaS sale through legal, purchasing, and multiple decision-makers
  • Strong technical background. Demonstrated aptitude for learning, explaining, and demonstrating technologies
  • Experience building strong business relationships with team members and customers
  • Leverage CRM data to construct, forecast, and manage sales activity and drive pipeline to meet revenue targets
  • Ability to accurately forecast opportunities in order to give management the insight needed in order to effectively grow the business
  • Excellent listening skills, along with superb written and oral communications
  • Strong negotiating skills and the capacity to manage and be creative in a complex sales situation
