- Infor XA ERP – ISE is an Infor Channel Partner and reseller of the Infor XA ERP solution. Our team has deep expertise in helping customers upgrade and implement Infor XA ERP in their businesses. We can also host and manage our customer’s Infor XA environment in the cloud.
- IBM – ISE is an IBM partner selling IBM iSeries servers. We have staff with technical expertise to update, upgrade and optimize the IBM iSeries. In addition, we offer IBM iSeries cloud hosting and/or remote management services.
- MV2 MES – We develop, sell, implement, and support our proprietary MV2 MES (Manufacturing Execution System) solution that connects, monitors, and coordinates complex manufacturing systems, data flows, and people on the shop floor.

POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a detail-oriented Controller to lead the finance and accounting function of our family-owned business. Reporting to the President, the Controller will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, providing strategic guidance on financial matters, and will play a key role in leading the financial strategy of the organization. The controller position will coordinate and lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes and provide financial reports and insights to support strategic decisions and enhance business performance. The controller will be involved in creating presentations to the Board of Directors and will be a member of the company’s leadership team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversees the operations of the Accounting Department, which include accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, invoicing and payroll journal entries.
- Maintains a documented system of accounting policies and procedures; implements a system of controls over accounting transactions to minimize risk.
- Oversees the production of periodic financial reports; ensures that the reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles.
- Responsible for timely monthly financial statement preparation and related schedules.
- Owner of Treasury Management including financial institution relationships, cash flow management and ongoing assessment & recommendation of borrowing or investment opportunities.
- Recommends benchmarks that will be used to measure the company’s performance.
- Produces the annual budget and forecasts; reports significant budget differences to management.
- Provides financial analysis, with emphasis on capital investments, purchasing decisions, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations.
- Works with external auditors and tax accountants and provides needed information for the annual audit tax return.
- Manages recurring revenue streams and corresponding spreadsheets.
- Performs commission reconciliation and calculation processes for sales commissions.
- Reconcile monthly and quarterly sales tax returns.
- Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements.
- Participates in Director-level strategic meetings to move the company forward.
- Manages, supports, and provides backup to Accounting Specialist.
- Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration required.
- Three years or more of related experience in a software and/or services business required.
- Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant designation preferred.
- Excellent management and supervisory skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient in accounting and tax preparation software.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
